This is a short documentary on Airey Neave, the Conservative politician, war hero and lawyer who staunchly supported Margaret Thatcher, including running her leadership campaign in 1975. Baroness Thatcher is the Founding Honourary President of The Bruges Group.

Neave was assassinated by a car bomb by Irish nationalists when driving out of the Palace of Westminster just two days after James Callaghan's Government suffered a no confidence vote - Neave was in line to take the role as Secretary of State for Northern Ireland
