Airbus began manufacturing the A220 in the U.S. during 2019, with the first team of A220 production workers – who performed on-the-job training in Mirabel, Canada at the A220 primary final assembly line – starting work at Airbus’ Mobile, Alabama-based facility.
Airbus’ global reach and scale come together with Bombardier’s state-of-the-art jet aircraft in the A220 Family (formerly the C Series), now being produced in a partnership between Airbus and Bombardier.
