Once upon a time (21 years ago!!) mi amor built a small mud brick recording studio in our back garden. For twelve years he recorded a variety of bands, choirs and solo artists and then it was time for a new direction.

Our girls had left home and he migrated all of his gear into the upstairs bedroom to work on his personal music projects and music for my online classes. The studio was empty and unused and I had started to travel, teach and stay in fun, quirky airbnbs whilst overseas.

“Hmmm why don’t we turn the studio into an Airbnb and see how it goes?” I mused to Marco one day.
Eleven years later we’ve hosted hundreds of wonderful people from all over the world and created a little
Beachside sanctuary tucked away amongst chirping birds and beautiful gardens in the back corner of our garden. We love being Airbnb hosts!

Recently we did a complete reno on the bedroom of the Airbnb and this little sketch is from the newly renovated room. Hope you enjoy!
