Air to air exchanger or HRV overview, maintenance, and an explanation on how it works and why it's needed. In this video I explain a Venmar air to air exchanger (also known as ventilator, vanee, HRV, or ERV) and what needs to be done to it maintenance wise. One thing I forgot to mention is the drain hose. That should be checked periodically to make sure it is not getting plugged up.
