This morning we woke to -31.6C in our heat pump heated cabin.
It might be the worst case scenario for a heat pump, and we were told it wouldn't work. We hired an energy auditor, made some budget friendly upgrades and then iinstalled a heat pump in the fridged northern climate of Canada.
This is the conclusion of a two-year journey to source and install a heat pump after doing some careful reasearch. The journey is documented in our video documentary.
