Composers in former times often needed rich patrons in order to survive. Johann Sebastian Bach was no exception. When in the service of the Duke of Brandenburg at Cothen he had a fine court orchestra at his disposal. Apart from the celebrated six concertos that bear the Duke's name, Bach also composed four superb orchestral suites.
In the third of these is a lovely air, which other hands have subtiled "Air On A G String"

Jacques Loussier (26 October 1934 – 5 March 2019) was a French pianist and composer. He arranged jazz interpretations of many of the works of Johann Sebastian Bach, such as the Goldberg Variations. The Jacques Loussier Trio, founded in 1959, played more than 3,000 concerts and sold more than 7 million recordings—mostly in the Bach series. Loussier composed film scores and a number of classical pieces, including a Mass, a ballet, and violin concertos. His style is described as third stream, a synthesis of jazz and classical music, with an emphasis on improvisation.

This track was recorded directly to computer from the CD and processed using Audacity software.
The video was created in Movie Maker, where the images and the music track were assembled into the final product.
Creating just one video such as this from a single track on a CD takes around fifteen minutes from start to finish, therefore an eighteen-track CD takes more than three hours to process.
