Air France long haul business class can be hit or miss, and that’s why I was expecting this flight from Paris to San Francisco to be a little dull. Not only that, I knew ahead of time that it was going to be the old (outgoing) business class seat.

Long story short, my expectations were so low that it ended up being a really great experience. The seat was comfy, the food was delicious, and the cabin crew were all in a pretty good mood. I didn’t care that my video screen wouldn’t latch and that it was in my face all the way to SFO.

FYI, the aircraft registration was F-GZNE, and the total flying time was 10 hours and 37 minutes.
