In 2024 the RCAF will celebrate the 100 th anniversary of it's official designation and for the city of Quinte West it denotes almost the same amount of time in it's relationship with the RCAF and 8 wing Trenton . There will be fanfare and dedications, a grand airshow will draw thousands to the city , but just how did the largest airbase in Canada end up in Trenton
