AION 2 has officially revealed its monetization and business model for the Global launch this September — and this is NOT what many players were hoping for.
After all the talk about changes for the Global version, the core monetization systems from Korea are still here. A $15 monthly Membership is required to access the Market and Kina ↔ Quna Exchange, players can effectively convert premium currency into in-game currency, Battle Passes are sold PER CHARACTER, upgrade materials are included in premium rewards, and Founder's Packs give 5 DAYS of Early Access.
