Renowned Australian Jazz drummer and band leader John Morrison is a proud ambassador for the Australian Institute of Music. At the start of 2017 he formed the AIM Studio Youth Orchestra, a band comprising of talented young students (all of them are between the age of 14-18), to develop their musical talents as well as giving them professional studio and performance opportunities.
At the start of 2018 John brought the ASYO into the AIM studios to give them a professional studio and recording experience for the first time. In this video you can hear the students performing the track 'Rippin and Runnin' composed and arranged by Gordon Goodwin.
