Paper-covered wire can be challenging to form because the outer paper insulation must remain intact throughout the bending process. The AFCe handles this material very well when the application uses moderate to large bend radii.
For applications requiring extremely tight, small-radius bends similar to those produced by a press brake, paper-covered wire may not be suitable due to the limitations of the covering itself. With appropriate bend radii, however, the AFCe can produce complex, repeatable wire forms while maintaining the integrity of the paper covering.
