Discover the ‘Sihat Aktif Manirian (S.A.M)’ digital wellness tool by SK Manir, Terengganu, the 1st Place Winner in the Primary School Category of the AIA Malaysia Healthiest Schools Competition 2026. The school was also received the Outstanding Award for Active Lifestyles at the AIA Healthiest Schools Regional Awards 2026.
Developed in response to rising BMI levels and increasingly sedentary lifestyles among students, the S.A.M app leverages technology, data-driven insights and community participation to inspire healthier living. By encouraging students to be more active and mindful of their well-being, the initiative promotes positive lifestyle choices and sustainable behavioural change.
More than just a digital tool, S.A.M demonstrates how creativity, innovation and collaboration can come together to create meaningful health outcomes, empowering students to take charge of their health and build healthier habits for the future.
