Had to do sound design for a commercial where a guy watches a soccer match on his phone. The client asked for a British voice, so instead of recording it myself, I tested two AI tools: ElevenLabs and Waves' Illugen.

Both generated the same line of soccer commentary, but the results? Not even close.

“Here we go, it’s heating up now! The ball’s in a dangerous spot, you can feel the tension building up!”
