Using ChatGPT to write scripts, I got the AI to write me two scripts, a script that allowed me to move the character while also animating and a camera that follows and moves the camera around the character.
It's not 100% what I wanted, I wanted it to be more like how GTA or most third person cameras work, I wasn't able to either word it well enough for the AI to write exactly what needed to be done or it was something I had to do on my end, but its been years since I've used Unity so I was going by memory for most things and having to look up a video to make animation go from one animation to another. But I do think its user error and not knowing anything about programming to be able to write my own/figure it out.
The map (level) I used was a a map from the first grand theft auto with the textures upscaled by 6x using Gigapixel AI. The model was extracted from GTA 3 and uses a head off another character model to make a different character. I then used animation from Mixamo and imported into Unity. This little clip was just a little joke saying it was GTA 6 leaked footage on a GTA Shitposting group I'm a mod of. But decided to upload it because I think its really cool how this AI was able to write a script and I was able to use them (with minor edits due to different names of files etc) and I don't know enough about programming to even start a piece of code.
I might build more onto it, I did have some trouble getting a few animations in there and getting it to all work right so I scaled back down to just having an Idle and a running, so now I might play around with it more and try getting the jump and a walk in there. I have fixed up the scale since recording this as watching it back I saw how far it was off xD
