In this tutorial, I’ll show you exactly how I created The Red Coat Mystery, an AI-made horror film, step by step. We wrote the script with ChatGPT, generated chilling visuals and animations with Vortex.channel agents, and added cinematic art through MidJourney. The entire film was edited together in CapCut, where I layered in sound design — from campfire crackles to blade whooshes — all free inside the app. For epic Hollywood-level background music, I used Suno’s new Version 5. And to push it further, we created custom scary sound effects like footsteps and breathing using ElevenLabs effects.
