To support the role of the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) as connectors in the expanding AI Innovation Ecosystem, a training programme has been designed to provide insight into the growing number of AI infrastructure initiatives and how EDIHs can connect them with SME and public sector stakeholders. The training package offers an e-learning course on the EU AI Act and the AI innovation ecosystem and webinars on the key instruments of the latter. The training package is open to all EDIHs as well as to the wider public. The Commission represents and upholds the interests of the EU as a whole, and is independent of national governments.
The European Commission prepares legislation for adoption by the Council (representing the member countries) and the Parliament (representing the citizens). It administers the budget and the policy programmes (agriculture, fisheries, research etc.) in cooperation with authorities in the member countries. The Commission's work is steered by a College of Commissioners, and led by its President. The Commissioners work on specific policy priorities that are set out by the Commission President.
