Intel Newsroom | AI Inferencing in Ultrasound with Intel Core Ultra @IntelNewsroom | Uploaded 5 months ago | Updated 11 hours ago
One of the main benefits of Intel® Core™ Ultra processors is their powerful, built-in, integrated Graphics Processing Units (GPUs). These graphics chips are located on the same die as Intel's mobile processors.
Intel’s Health and Life Sciences Team is helping ultrasound and medical device manufacturers leverage the power of integrated graphics for AI inferencing. Using integrated graphics within Intel® Core™ Ultra helps support their AI algorithms without the need for separate, discrete graphics cards, enabling lower power consumption, affordability, and increased AI throughput performance.
In this demo, Samsung Medison's ultrasound imaging AI application, called Live HeartAssist™, is running on an Intel® Core™ Ultra processor. This showcases the capability of integrated graphics to handle complex AI-driven tasks efficiently.
