In the era of AI, wireless communication and sensing play a crucial role. AI heavily relies on powerful servers, while numerous applications operate on resource-constrained edge devices. Wireless communication serves as the bridge between edge devices and servers, leading to a significant demand for it. Simultaneously, existing AI predominantly focuses on video, voice, and text, whereas wireless sensing technology has considerably broadened our horizon by capturing information beyond the line-of-sight and detecting physical properties and chemical compositions. In this presentation, we will provide an overview of the current landscape and present our vision and exploration of developing smart environments to support wireless communication and sensing.
