The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Integrated Circuit (IC) design is now a reality. It can be employed at various stages along the IC design supply chain. The talk describes the development process of the SoC "AI by AI," a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) created using Large Language Models (LLM), and the downscaling to silicon using the Caravel and chipIgnite programs.
