Our students from the Masters in Product Design and in Interaction Design took part in an intensive AI Bootcamp led by Alexandra Mihai, PhD AIxDesign for a11y, focused on strengthening AI literacy and critical understanding.
The session explored how AI systems work, their limitations, and the ethical considerations that shape responsible interaction design. Students examined a central question:
How can we design AI interactions that people trust?
Their brief challenged them to design a physical device augmented by AI that builds trust through intimacy rather than functionality.
A valuable learning experience that will directly support their ongoing design projects and their development as thoughtful, future-oriented professionals.
