Talking Tech visits the Robotics & Edge AI Pavilion at Computex 2026 to explore how Intel technology is powering the next wave of intelligent machines. We visit three partners: Onyx Healthcare, Circulus, and Aaeon, who showcase real‑world applications built on Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, OpenVINO, and Intel Arc B70 GPUs.
With Onyx, our host and Tech Evangelist Alejandro Hoyos steps into a rehabilitation exoskeleton designed for hospitals and long‑term care. Using Panther Lake processors and OpenVINO, the system senses joint movement, predicts intent, and assists patients as they relearn how to walk.
Circulus demonstrates a humanoid robot called Pion that can recognize objects, pick up packages, and adapt its behavior. Pion is also powered by Panther Lake, where P cores handle real time control, E cores collect sensor data, the GPU runs vision language action models, and the NPU manages continuous perception for efficient, local decision making.
Aaeon shows a humanoid robot that can perform PCB inspection using on‑device AI. An edge server with Intel Arc B70 GPUs retrains and refines models using factory data, while an AI‑powered Human-Machine Interface (HMI) lets supervisors analyze results, monitor workflows, and adjust operations.
