I’ve spent the day at Asana’s Work Innovation Summit in London, where the big theme was the next phase of enterprise AI: moving from individual productivity tools to coordinated human-agent work. #Sponsored
The key message for me was that AI needs to be embedded into the workflows that actually drive business outcomes, with the right context, governance and accountability.
Asana announced its new Agentic Work Management package, which brings together several new products designed to help humans and AI agents work together more effectively:
Asana Dash, an AI Chief of Staff that understands a user’s goals, priorities and work across teams and tools. (asana.com/product/ai/dash)
Asana Service Management, designed to help IT, HR, facilities and other service teams resolve requests and move from tickets to projects without losing context. (asana.com/product/service-management)
Command by Asana, a planning and product development system where humans and agents can work together on specs, backlogs, releases and dependencies. (asana.com/product/command)
Asana Client Management, which helps agencies manage the full client lifecycle, from intake through delivery, with branded portals and AI agents supporting the work behind the scenes. (asana.com/product/client-management)
And StackAI, acquired in May 2026, which extends Agentic Work Management beyond Asana into the systems where enterprise work happens, including CRMs, ERPs, support systems, contracts, databases and custom infrastructure. (asana.com/press/releases/pr/asana-acquires-stackai-adding-cross-system-execution-for-human-agent-teams/e7c73b97-ae8c-4e51-b927-189ccb184146)
My takeaway from the day is simple: the next phase of AI at work will be about orchestration.
The question for leaders is not simply whether people are using AI. It is whether AI is connected to the workflows, decisions and outcomes that actually matter.
