The two first episodes of Star Wars Ahsoka are now out, and just as the early social media reactions indicated, it is for all intents and purposes season five of the animated Star Wars Rebels, which further builds on the animated Clone Wars.
If you haven’t done your homework and seen them, you might be left confused, and the realization that a confused audience aren’t going to make this the hit it needs to be, just might have Disney spooked!
Conveniently, the industry trade The Hollywood Reporter just released a list of 15 episodes from previous Star Wars series you need to have seen before episode one of Ahsoka!
In this editorial, @AndreEinherjar will begin with why that is most unusual for an industry trade to do, what might have happened behind the scenes at Disney and Lucasfilm to instigate that, and how important it is that Ahsoka succeed where the other recent Star Wars series have failed!
