While our campus was relatively quiet during the summer break, the Ahmedabad Grand Challenges Programme (AGCP) 2025 filled it with the buzz of young minds at work.
High school students from across India came together to explore this year’s theme: understanding indoor air pollution and its mitigation.
They gathered real-world data, went on field visits, and participated in hands-on workshops. They examined the issue through the lenses of science, technology, policy, behaviour, and the humanities.
There was fun too: sports, music, dance, a walk through the walled city, and many moments of friendship and laughter.
AGCP is a unique programme for outstanding students of Grades X, XI, and XII. It offers them the opportunity to engage with complex challenges in an academically rich environment and to experience the culture and ethos of a liberal education-based research University.
