From world-class laboratories to veterinary hospitals to gardens, students in agriculture and natural resources fields have everything they need to learn here at UT.
In this video, Bryce and Grey will show you around the side of our campus that houses the UT Institute of Agriculture. You’ll even get to see one of our newest additions—the rooftop gardens on the Agriculture and Natural Resources Building.
UT is home to one of only 33 accredited colleges of veterinary medicine in the nation, and the first center for veterinary social work was founded here. Vet med students learn in four hospitals right here on campus: the John and Ann Tickle Small Animal Hospital, the Equine Hospital, the Farm Animal Hospital, and the Avian, Exotics, and Zoological Hospital.
Our ag and natural resources students have a bunch of opportunities to get hands-on real-world experience at places like the UT Dairy Farm and the Great Smoky Mountains.
