Agnes Obel - September Song
Looking through the "other channels that your audience watches" section of youtube analytics, I found that many of my listeners also listen/watch Agnes Abel's videos.
And to tell the truth, until that moment I had no idea about this musician. Amazing, right? I got a little familiar with the music of Agnes - and found a song that I wanted to record - September Song. In my interpretation, I decided to move away from some mechanicalness inherent in the original (it seems Agnes' version is recorded with a click, there are also overdubs in her recording) by lowering the tempo, and allowing myself more rhythmic freedom - and the result is what you are now listening to.
I recorded 2 versions of this composition - and as usual - I couldn't choose which one to upload. So I'm posting both:

The composition appeared on the 2013 album Aventine - the second studio album by Danish singer-songwriter Agnes Obel, released by PIAS Recordings. The album received positive reviews from music critics. It was also a commercial success, charting inside the top 40 of the charts in nine countries.
September Song was also used in Big Little Lies - an American drama television series based on the 2014 novel of the same name by Liane Moriarty. Created and written by David E. Kelley, it aired on HBO from February 19, 2017, to July 21, 2019, encompassing 14 episodes and two seasons. Originally billed as a miniseries, Jean-Marc Vallée directed the first season, while Andrea Arnold directed the second season.
*Agnes Caroline Thaarup Obel (born 28 October 1980) is a Danish singer, songwriter, and musician based in Berlin. Her debut album, Philharmonics (2010), was certified gold in June 2011 by the Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA) after selling 10,000 units. At the Danish Music Awards in November 2011, Obel won five prizes, including Best Album and Best Debut Artist.
