To ensure the safety of everyone, Wärtsilä’s Annual General Meeting held on 4 March 2021 was – for the first time in the company history – hosted virtually at the Company’s headquarters in Helsinki. Opening the event, Jaakko Eskola, Senior Advisor to the Board and Executive Team at Wärtsilä Corporation, went through year 2020 results and major events before handing over to Håkan Agnevall, Wärtsilä's new CEO, who started in February 2021. In his speech, Håkan then focused on giving an overview of what Wärtsilä’s future holds.
