In this episode, my agent Alex reads a grocery list from a Markdown file, opens an online wet market, finds the closest available products, handles substitutions and adds everything to my cart. Then it stops at checkout — because verification and payment are the important parts I want to do myself.
This is where an agent becomes useful: not when a workflow is perfectly repetitive, but when something may be unavailable and the system needs to react dynamically.
