No way are we updating a whole tree of index files manually. It's 2026. Let's teach the agent a skill.
In this episode, I'll show you the `$update` skill inside our Second Brain. One command checks what changed, refreshes every relevant `INDEX.md`, and saves a summary of the session into `chat-history` so the agent knows what you were doing when you return.
A skill is simply a reusable set of instructions packaged behind a short command. If there is something you keep asking your agent to do, you probably shouldn't keep typing it out.
