A soldier attached to an international study team deployed to ancient ruins in the middle of a still smoking war-zone. A somewhat bored soldier who befriends an old man. An old man with a request and the inevitable betrayal that happens.
Trapped and Sacrificed to a strange 'shrine' as a last ditch effort to save themselves, our protagonist is forced to navigate their way through what turns out to be an alien spaceship. All on a quest to find a mythical Spear wielded by a ancient King and said to grant wishes and power. Perhaps, finding it will give the Protagonist, a way out.
An interesting commentary on the nature of power, the people who follow power, and of God or The Gods themselves, Shadow Tower:Abyss deserves way more than it got.
This episode starts off with the Shrine Below the Forest, Silent Shore, and the Blue Light Area.
