Meet Luke Huang, the 1st Assistant Director behind Susan I'm Disappearing, as he shares what it takes to keep a film set running smoothly, why communication is at the heart of the role, and how an AD works closely with cast and crew to bring a production together.

Susan I'm Disappearing is a documentary-hybrid film exploring the story of 83 Dixon Street and the early days of Sydney's Chinatown through the eyes of Susan. Produced as part of the Bachelor of Arts Screen: Production program, the film was one of AFTRS' Year 3 graduation productions, which are student-led projects bringing together three years of learning, creative development and craft.
