Danny Wimmer Presents’ record-breaking 2025 festival season concluded October 2–5 with the largest Aftershock in history — drawing over 164,000 fans from all 50 states and more than 30 countries to Sacramento’s Discovery Park, generating an estimated $35 million in local economic impact.
The West Coast’s biggest rock, punk, and metal festival reached new heights in 2025 — four epic days, 115 bands, and unforgettable moments, including:
Thursday
● Blink-182’s nostalgia-driven set with special guest Matt Skiba (Alkaline Trio) for “Bored to Death”
● Good Charlotte in a West Coast festival exclusive, joined by guest Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley for a performance of two Sum 41 classics – “Fat Lip” and “In Too Deep”
Friday
● Deftones returning for a special hometown show and performing on the exact date of the 30th anniversary of their debut album Adrenaline
● Lamb of God live debuting “Sepsis” and frontman Randy Blythe joining Lacuna Coil for a performance of “Hosting the Shadow”
● Dream Theater in a 40th anniversary performance
● The Dillinger Escape Plan’s West Coast reunion show
Saturday
● Korn’s electric headlining set, including a special tribute to Ozzy Osbourne on track “4 U,” to mark their final tour date of 2025
● Flyleaf’s Lacey Sturm taking the stage with both Saliva and Scary Kids Scaring Kids
● Trivium celebrating the 20th anniversary of Ascendancy with full album performance
Sunday
● Bring Me The Horizon closing out the festival with a stunning high-tech, sci-fi set design that brought on the anticipation for their just-announced 2026 tour
● Chimaira’s first West Coast show in 11 Years
● GWAR’s 40th anniversary show offering a true bloodbath alongside their trademark political satire
Aftershock also featured epic performances from Gojira, Turnstile, Marilyn Manson, A Perfect Circle, Bad Omens, Rob Zombie, Slaughter To Prevail, All Time Low and many more artists.
