Across Myanmar, around 3.7 million people are internally displaced due to conflict and natural disasters. And women are often left carrying much of the responsibility to keep families safe, fed, and connected during a crisis. With support from the Government of France, UN Women supports women like members of the Ngwe La Yaung (Silver Moon) Women's Business Group to rebuild their lives by building businesses that generate income for their families while strengthening the communities they are part of.
