You there, Praetorian! Your country needs you, so listen up!
Today’s subject are the shadowy Afriel Commandos! Among many of the Imperium’s projects to create superior soldiers, Praetoria has considerable access to perhaps the most infamous: the Afriel Strain. This programme aims to use and modify the genetic strain of the Imperium’s greatest heroes, most notably Lord Solar Macharius himself, to create an army of albino commandos. These Afriel are faster, stronger and more cunning than a traditional soldier, but suffer from unexplainable streaks of often lethal misfortune. Perhaps because of this, the Afriel have adopted a cavalier and even outright rebellious attitude towards authority, prompting commanders to ‘deploy and forget’ these rambunctious saboteurs, the sheer ocean of destruction following indicating their still active service. In these dark times, Praetoria shall require the most deadly of hands, even those as unscrupulous as theirs.
Voice Acting done by myself and TheKoopaMan for the Praetorian Guard Faction of Dawn of War Soulstorm: Unification Mod. Afriel Commandos are elite Deepstrike Troopers, acting as Praetoria's equivalent to Stormtroopers and are capable of taking on any threat thrown their way.
