I tried to make my first Africa-inspired song.^^ I wanted to do that since a long time but I never fully knew how, so in the last months I just started to listen through random songs from all over Africa, especially sub-Saharan. All the instruments I used in this song are from Africa, the drums are mostly Djembe, the melodies are done with different African bell instruments and log drums. The temple in the picture is probably more south-Asian but it was the best jungle artwork I could find.^^ Since I’m not African and have almost no knowledge about its musical techniques, and also because I always combine Fantasy ideas with what I compose, I added Fantasy to the title. So if you’re from Africa and this doesn’t sound very good – I’m a total amateur in your music genres, please keep that in mind. xD But it was a lot of fun to try out and I think I’ll do more of this someday. =)
