This video from 2Dgameartguru.com is more of a timelapse than a tutorial. It shows the process of creating an illustration using just lines [with only 2 nodes], strokes [but no fills], colour or gradients, and most of all the pressure curve.

I created a similar design for a weekly challenge in a social media group [Affinity Designer - hands-on] but didn't record the process. In this video, I recreate the style with the same limitation to show you the process and the advantages of working with simple lines and pressure curves [which can be expanded to shapes easily if needed].
I had to speed up the playback speed as the original recording was 1h 45min - I got a little carried away [what can I say].
It's great fun and I already created two videos on doing plants similar to the ones in this video:
One for Affinity Designer:
studio.youtube.com/video/cVqjoESXovI/edit
...and a second one for Inkscape:
studio.youtube.com/video/a2Iopv6YSzY/edit

Most of the functionality shown in the video can be created with other software tools such as Adobe's Illustrator, CorelDraw, or Inkscape with minor alterations and different names for the tools used.

See more Affinity Designer and Inkscape tutorials on the website at http://2dgameartguru.com.
