An upcoming Metroidvania game I've had the pleasure to test in advance.

Aeterna Noctis is a 2D metroidvania that tells the story of
the never ending fight between the King of Darkness and the Queen of
Light. Players will control the King of Darkness through 16 levels full
of platforming, combat, hidden secrets and epic bosses. The game will
be released on December 15 on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation, Xbox
and Nintendo Switch.
