Ingredients:
18g coffee
60 ml water plus extra, divided, 201°F (94°C)
What You'll Need:
An AeroPress: My go-to is the Clear, especially for the class of a long black. aeropress.com/products/aeropress-clear
Coffee: 18 grams of your finest beans, go bold!
Flow Control Filter Cap: Unlocks that espresso style body. aeropress.com/products/aeropress-flow-control-filter-cap
Grinder: Set to very fine, for that full flavor and mouthfeel.
Kettle: Temp control will put this over the top.
Scale: Optional but even a cheap kitchen scale will really up your consistency.
Mug: Preheat it for bonus points.
Water: 80 grams, hot and ready for a party.
Directions:
1. Heat kettle.
2. Weigh out and grind 18g of coffee, shooting for a fine grind.
3. Insert filter and cap your AeroPress.
4.Place your glass on a coffee scale and fill with hot water.
5. Put the ground coffee into the chamber and place the chamber on top of your glass.
6.Place the glass and AeroPress on a coffee scale.
7. Start your timer and pour 60ml of water into your AeroPress and stir.
After 45 seconds, insert the plunger and press.
8. Enjoy!
