From Sun 'n Fun 2024, AeroLEDs' Ryan Edmark goes into detail about the new wingtips for Van's RVs that incorporate landing and taxi lights, red and green nav lights, strobe lights and more. The system, available in fiberglass or carbon fiber, also includes a rear-facing recognition and strobe light as well as a lower-edge "courtesy" light that helps illuminate the area under the wingtip. AeroLEDs has them now for the RV-10 and RV-14 and is developing a set for the earlier RV series, including the RV-4, RV-6, RV-7 and RV-8.
