Here is the story from April 2024 World Cup of indoor skydiving which were held in Macau.
At the very start of the competition, Toms Īvāns—the 2018 World Cup winner and newly crowned 2024 European Cup champion from Latvia—took his first flight. However, as he prepared to exit the tunnel, things took an unexpected turn.
A slight miscalculation in his trajectory led to a sudden and abrupt end to his flying routine. The moment was intense and dramatic, leaving spectators in shock as they anticipated the worst.
But within moments, the crowd’s gasps turned into thunderous applause. Despite the unexpected exit, Toms emerged completely unscathed—without so much as a scratch.
