Ares Gear are one of the originators of the modern Gun Belt. This belt is by far THE BEST EDC belt I have ever used. That's not to say this is the end all, be all belt and nothing is as well made etc. I'm just saying, I'm glad to not have to deal with loud and annoying velcro found on other EDC belts I've used. The buckle on the Aegis is rather LARGE, so it's not really a deal breaker, and honestly, when being worn, in front or off to one side, I don't notice it at all. I'm impressed at how easy it is in adjust and how well it holds up my pants and distributes the weight of other items I have attached to it.
I HIGHLY recommend the Ares Gear Aegis Belt. You will not be sorry for the purchase. I'm sure it will last for years.
