Each of these boxes were $250! Long gone are the days of $1 packs of trading cards! I haven't bought a pack of trading cards since the 90's. But the goal with this series was to collect the 9 3x3 cards needed to create the Greg Hildebrandt image of Wolverine vs. Hulk that I own the original art for. CHEAPEST DEADPOOL STATUE EVER!!! $299 for Crazy Dynamic XM Studios Deadpool Comic Version Statue! DTs GEEK SHOW 2024-05-29 | Today we're taking a look at the XM Studios 1/4 scale DEADPOOL Version B. I've had my eye on this piece for a while but never pulled the trigger...until now! I couldn't resist a good deal. When I saw this being offered for $299 I knew it was time to add it to the statue collection. MY THOUGHTS ON THIS DEADPOOLI love the dynamic pose and all the detail sculpted by Daniel Bel and Philip Herman. I also really enjoy the comedic aspect of this piece with the cute pink and white unicorn, speech bubbles and 3D comic book panel. Paint is top notch. I wasn't sure if I was going to display this piece with the little comic frame or not. But after seeing it in person, it makes a lot of sense and would add a unique element to the collection. If trying to match it up to other 1/4 scale statues, I might be tempted to leave it off. Prior to getting this statue, I saw a few reviews that had concern about the sturdiness of this piece, due to the fact that Deadpool and the Unicorn were all supported by a single metal rod going through the carousel pole. I have to say, the piece does wobble and shake if anything is touched or moved. But once on a shelf, things are pretty solid. The metal appears to be pretty strong and I don't think it is at risk of breaking or leaning. I'm not really sure if there would have been a better solution, without adding additional points of contact which I think would have ruined the look of this piece. How I Saved the WORLDS LARGEST SPIDER-MAN vs. SINISTER SIX STATUE DIORAMA!!! My initial assembly attempt didn't go to plan and heavy statue pieces were falling on me. So I had to figure out a way to secure thing and perform a little statue surgery. This is one of the craziest statues I have ever unboxed. 7 1/4 scale characters on a huge base. I had a little incident while putting together one of the largest 1/4 scale statues ever created...The SPIDER-MAN VS. THE SINISTER SIX Diorama! This statue was a bold undertaking and a breathtaking work of art. It stands over 50 inches tall, 45 inches wide and 36 inches deep! The sculpt and details are beautiful. This 1:4 scale statue is from the same group that made this custom SHE-HULK statue: youtu.be/F7xC3tKOuBk. Who is the Red She-Hulk? She came from nowhere, dressed in the tattered clothing of the mutant Domino, and ambushed Wolverine just as he was about to attack a blind Red Hulk. She fought the feral mutant before escaping into the sewers with her red counterpart. Claiming to work for the same people as Red Hulk, she kept her true identity hidden from him even as she hinted she knew who he was, but her banter only proved to be a temporary distraction. She delivered the red giant into the hands of Samson — the man who convinced Red Hulk's Code Red teammates to betray him.
