The Lockridge sisters have reunited.
Ive never felt this nervous about uploading an episode...it definitely did not come out as I wanted it to, because shocker - not filming or editing for 5 years makes you forget stuff! And thanks, brain fog :D
This was a fun re-learning experience, though! Hopefully Ill improve as more episodes come out, but for now a few creator notes/ disclaimers:
- There are a few dark flashes throughout the video (only 3 or 4, thank god) & they were not intentional. I think I used a NewBlue effect that fucked it up, but idk tbh :U I was afraid to render it again and risk getting more of them. Ill refrain from using those effects in episode 2 and see what happens.
- You know its been a long ass while when you forget to change a characters outfit mid filming...and so the part with Prismarine spilling soup on Henry was improv born (: Originally he was getting grindr notifications lol
- Im so sorry if the subtitles go by too fast! This episode had way too much exposition yet too little happening, but rest assured Ill definitely chill with the walls of texts in the future episodes lmaoo
- Over the years I became way too self-critical and while waiting for the release date I kept re-watching this and thinking how lame it feels lsdjflsdg A series centering around twins? Totally hasnt been done a thousand times since 2009 to the point where its a meme (please watch Luumias The Hated Twin video, its peak sims machinima) ...still, I really just wanna have fun with this. Ill try to stop over-analyzing, but I would still appreciate any feedback from you! Constructive criticism is always welcome! Dont bully me tho cuz Im big baby~
- Special shoutouts to my friend SnapshotOfASoul (https://www.youtube.com/user/SnapshotOfASoul), whose tutorials I used to make certain scenes happen and TheOnlyException (https://www.youtube.com/user/OnlyExceptionCollab), whose animation hacks I kept using throughout the episode! The talent and skills some ppl in this community have, damn!

I did not expect to prolong this episode for so long and I really wanted to have it up in 2021, but cest la vie
Im sorry for the few glitches, sony vegas is a legit snake because it does not show them in the preview window as Im editing lol the betrayal...dont get me started on how I had to re-edit the dream sequence, because the plug in I used to make a filter for it caused flashes every second once I rendered it...it was originally so much prettier waaah
The episode starts off kinda dark with topics of death and s*icide implications that might be upsetting. I tend to try to keep things light and NOT trauma-inducing even when I want them to be serious, but if you would like me to use better trigger warnings in the future and not just the vague one at the start please pleaseeee let me know and Ill make sure to apply them!
I imagine its hard to retain any information when I upload so rarely now hahah so Im still slowly planting the seeds of the story and Im not sure if its super confusing or not (it probably is) but if you have any questions that dont require me to spoil Ill gladly answer them!
Also Im on Twitter a lot now (linked on my channel) where I post sneak peaks and generally just word vomit about whatever is on my mind...basically I shitpost often lmaoo so yeah, check it out if you feel like it!
