Our team is made up of passionate trekkers, climbers, mountaineers and skiers who bring real mountaineering backgrounds to every tour, leading groups safely through Iceland's wild nature while minimising our impact on it. Many pursue their own outdoor challenges too, from technical climbs to some of the world's highest summits.
Icelandic Mountain Guides has run the original Glacier Walks since 1994 — over 30 years guiding clients from around the world on safe, small-group adventures across Iceland's glaciers and mountains. Protecting the nature we work in is as central to what we do as the tours themselves.
