James Baxter, of all characters, gets a backstory! The horse’s legendary status came from the humble beginnings of mispronouncing “games bookstore,” yet this hero who brings smiles and laughter has deep fatigue and depression problems from creating only what people expect of him for so long. After Finn stabs James with a giant syringe of respect, he regains the ability to create for himself. (Sadly, Raggedy Princess remains without an uplifting resolution.)
