Today we are reviewing the Adventure of Samsara which is available for all major platforms. Switch, Xbox, Playstation, and of course, Steam! But I personally will be playing and reviewing the Atari VCS version because we actually had it released on the console! Crazy right?
Adventure of Samsara started life as Tower of Samsara and we attempted to be crowd funded by Ilex Games. Unfortunately they failed to get the project backed but Atari stepped in and published the game. This is when the Adventure aspect was added to the title and the game itself.
Developed by Ilex Games, Published by Atari, and released in September of 2025, Adventure of Samsara is a Metroidvania style adventure game with lots of different environments, power ups, bosses and element to engage with. Let's see if its a game worth playing!!!
I rate all games that I review on a 5 point scale. Here are what each rating means:
5 out of 5 is PERFECT! A console defining game!
4 out of 5 is Great! These are games that almost everyone will enjoy!
3 out of 5 is Good. These games are flawed but worth trying!
2 out of 5 is Bad. These games are very flawed and not worth it...
1 out of 5 is Garbage! Do not play these broken mess games! You've been warned!
