As it feels quite wintery today, here is an icy shaker, my latest Advent Shaker Calendar make!

Well I’ve just arrived at the office, and I’ve brought along today’s shaker, which is a glass perfume bottle. And I’ve just put a small amount of fairly large ball bearings in it. And I think the wonderful thing about making shakers is that, you know, you can alter the type of ingredients that you put in. You know, you can change the type of ingredients and so on. So you don’t have to be hostage just to the amount that you put in. So that’s quite fun. So, here we go! This is a really glassy, icy kind of effect.

She shows us the shaker she has created today, as part of her Advent Shaker Calendar (where she is making a new shaker every day in the lead-up to Christmas), describing what it is made from, and then demonstrates it.
