It's War! is the first mission of the Advance Wars campaign. It is the first mission where the player does not advise Nell, but the rookie Orange Star CO Andy.
Having driven the invading Blue Moon forces away from the capital, the Orange Star army resumes the reclamation of their country, led by the new CO Andy and the advisor, an extension of the player. Before the mission Olaf remarks that it will be easy as Nell is no longer his opponent, resulting in him asking who he was up against following the battle's end. This leads directly to the famous remark made by Andy that Olaf is "Nell's papa", which the latter promptly denies.
The next mission is Gunfighter!.

Designer Kentaro Nishimura commented that the game's success shifted Nintendo's attitude over Western tastes, and that same success is frequently credited as a driving force for Nintendo bringing another Intelligent Systems franchise, Fire Emblem, outside of Japan beginning with the seventh installment.
The story takes place on a fictional continent, where two nations, Orange Star and Blue Moon, have been fighting each other for years. The conflict enters a new stage when an Orange Star commanding officer named Andy is accused of attacking the armies of two other nations, Yellow Comet and Green Earth, without reason, resulting in a worldwide war. The game was released to critical acclaim and has been listed among the greatest video games of all time.

Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising is a turn-based strategy video game for the Game Boy Advance. It was developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo in 2003. It is the second game in the Advance Wars sub-series of Nintendo Wars. It is preceded by Advance Wars and followed by Advance Wars: Dual Strike. Despite being developed in the region, the original Japanese release was canceled, but the game was later released in the region alongside the original Advance Wars as part of a compilation cartridge called Game Boy Wars Advance 1+2 in 2004. At E3 2021, Nintendo announced that Black Hole Rising, alongside the original Advance Wars, would be remade and released together for the Nintendo Switch by WayForward in another compilation titled Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp.
Black Hole Rising is nearly identical to the previous game in terms of core gameplay; there was only a small change in overall graphical style and some small content additions. The storyline of this game continues from the previous game, Advance Wars. Black Hole has quickly recovered from its defeat in Cosmo Land, and has gathered forces to invade Macro Land under the command of Sturm, the same commander who led the invasion of Cosmo Land. The protagonists, the Allied Nations, cooperate once again to drive the Black Hole forces out of Macro Land once and for all. The game was well-received, and won the European Computer Trade Shows Best Handheld Game of the Year award in 2003.

[Campaign mode]
The Campaign mode in Black Hole Rising differs from its predecessor Advance Wars in that the mission selection is non-linear. The campaign takes place over the games five continents, each focusing on one of the five countries in the game. The player plays as one or more commanding officers of the protagonist nations, fighting against the antagonist of the game, Black Hole. Each continent begins with several missions that the player can select from. Upon meeting certain requirements, new missions may become available.When the regular campaign has been completed, a more difficult Hard Campaign, in the vein of Advance Warss Advance Campaign, can be unlocked, generally featuring modified maps and starting units.
[Plot]
While the Allied Nations were still recovering from the war in Cosmo Land, the Black Hole Army had already recovered and has decided to launch a large-scale invasion on Macro Land. Along with the original Black Hole armys commanding officers (COs), four new COs were recruited, under the command of Sturm: Flak, Black Holes strongman in charge of invading Orange Star; Lash, a girl genius having invented most of Black Holes technologies, invading Blue Moon; Adder, a narcissistic commander in charge of invading Yellow Comet; and Hawke, Black Holes second-in-command and Sturms most trusted ally. Sturm orders each Black Hole CO to invade and capture each of the four continents controlled by the four other armies from the original game: Orange Star was to be taken by Flak, Blue Moon by Lash, Yellow Comet by Adder, and Green Earth by Hawke. Lash also invented several new war weapons like the Black Cannon and the Mini Cannons that were to be put to use in this invasion. The four allied armies must now work together to drive Black Hole out of their world once and for all.

Time for Exploration, adventure time baby! With newfound freedom, we are able to head to Palevia Island where you can buy goods, deliver things for gold money, and capture a bunch of chickens for the Golden Egg quest. Personally, I recommend doing this since you get lots of materials for clearing jobs or tasks at towns you liberate which in turn give you more cash early game, and let you post guards immediately for future money plus automatic material gathering.

Unicorn Overlord is a 2024 tactical role-playing game developed by Vanillaware and published by Atlus in Japan, and Sega worldwide, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Set on the continent of Fevrith as it is consumed by war, the story follows exiled prince Alain as he gathers allies to liberate the nations of Fevrith from the Zenoiran Empire. Gameplay follows Alain and his army units fighting in large-scale battles, with field movement and battles taking place in real-time.
The concept for Unicorn Overlord was created by Takafumi Noma in 2014. With company founder George Kamitanis blessing, Noma took on the roles of director, programmer and lead artist. The aim was to create a modern version of classic tactical games from the 1990s. Production took roughly ten years due to overlapping with other Vanillaware projects. Basiscape, a music studio founded by Hitoshi Sakimoto, returned to score the game. The game has received positive reviews, with particular praise for its gameplay mechanics and visuals, but more mixed sentiments towards its story and design complexity.

Unicorn Overlord is a tactical role-playing game in which players take on the role of exiled prince Alain as he leads the Liberation Army in a campaign across the fantasy realm of Fevrith. During exploration, the player guides Alain across an overworld to enter towns, use services such as blacksmiths and merchants to outfit his army, and engage in story or optional battles. In areas not controlled by Alain or his allies, enemies represented by sprites also wander the overworld. All the characters, locations and sprites are displayed using 2D art.

Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice is the third video game in the Disgaea series by Nippon Ichi. It was released for the PlayStation 3 video game console. Jack Niida, Localization Director for NIS America, said, Disgaea 3 will have a downloadable content feature through the PlayStation Network to download new and old returning characters.
The player traverses a series of eight stages in any order while gaining various power-ups and taking the special weapon of each stages end boss. Mega Man X3 is the first game in the series in which Zero is a playable character (albeit in limited form) in addition to X. Like its predecessor, Mega Man X2, X3 features the Cx4 chip to allow for some limited 3D vector graphics and transparency effects.
Story Setting
The game takes place in a Netherworld school called the Evil Academy. In this demon school, a good student is one who engages in evil activities such as truancy, never showing up to class, and getting in fights with others. The student who participates the most in these kind of activities is known as the Honor Student, while demons who are admirable by human standards are known as delinquents.
Plot
Mao, son of the netherworlds Overlord, has not once attended class since the beginning of school. His ambition is to overthrow his father and claim his title (along with claiming revenge for having his gaming systems destroyed). After reading a few volumes in his manga about the Super Hero, Mao resolves to become a hero, convinced that it is the quickest way to gain enough power.
Gameplay
Disgaea 3 is a tactical RPG; most of the game involves battles on isometric maps upon which the player controls a group of characters. Maps often feature geo blocks with statistical effects on the battlefield, that, unlike in previous games, can be stacked or stood upon. Many objects in the environment, including these blocks, and characters themselves, can be lifted, thrown, or destroyed. Certain classes can create boxes or barrels to create stepping stones. Characters can form stacks, allowing them to reach higher areas or perform tower attacks. When throwing a character to a monster-type ally, they will bounce an extra distance based on the monsters direction and throwing stat.
With the newly introduced magichange feature, monsters are able to transform into specific weapons in which a partner can use to execute a strong technical attack. To do this they must be assigned to the same club as the ally, and the change is temporary. After two turns the monster disappears from battle, unless in the magintology club which increases it to 3 turns.
Re-Release
An enhanced remaster of Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice named Disgaea 3 Return (魔界戦記ディスガイア3 Return, Makai Senki Disugaia 3 Ritān) was released for the PlayStation Vita as a launch title in Japan on December 17, 2011. It was released in North America and Europe in April 2012, subtitled Absence of Detention.

Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising is a turn-based strategy video game for the Game Boy Advance. It was developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo in 2003. It is the second game in the Advance Wars sub-series of Nintendo Wars. It is preceded by Advance Wars and followed by Advance Wars: Dual Strike. Despite being developed in the region, the original Japanese release was canceled, but the game was later released in the region alongside the original Advance Wars as part of a compilation cartridge called Game Boy Wars Advance 1+2 in 2004. At E3 2021, Nintendo announced that Black Hole Rising, alongside the original Advance Wars, would be remade and released together for the Nintendo Switch by WayForward in another compilation titled Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp.
Black Hole Rising is nearly identical to the previous game in terms of core gameplay; there was only a small change in overall graphical style and some small content additions. The storyline of this game continues from the previous game, Advance Wars. Black Hole has quickly recovered from its defeat in Cosmo Land, and has gathered forces to invade Macro Land under the command of Sturm, the same commander who led the invasion of Cosmo Land. The protagonists, the Allied Nations, cooperate once again to drive the Black Hole forces out of Macro Land once and for all. The game was well-received, and won the European Computer Trade Shows Best Handheld Game of the Year award in 2003.

[Campaign mode]
The Campaign mode in Black Hole Rising differs from its predecessor Advance Wars in that the mission selection is non-linear. The campaign takes place over the games five continents, each focusing on one of the five countries in the game. The player plays as one or more commanding officers of the protagonist nations, fighting against the antagonist of the game, Black Hole. Each continent begins with several missions that the player can select from. Upon meeting certain requirements, new missions may become available.When the regular campaign has been completed, a more difficult Hard Campaign, in the vein of Advance Warss Advance Campaign, can be unlocked, generally featuring modified maps and starting units.
[Plot]
While the Allied Nations were still recovering from the war in Cosmo Land, the Black Hole Army had already recovered and has decided to launch a large-scale invasion on Macro Land. Along with the original Black Hole armys commanding officers (COs), four new COs were recruited, under the command of Sturm: Flak, Black Holes strongman in charge of invading Orange Star; Lash, a girl genius having invented most of Black Holes technologies, invading Blue Moon; Adder, a narcissic commander in charge of invading Yellow Comet; and Hawke, Black Holes second-in-command and Sturms most trusted ally. Sturm orders each Black Hole CO to invade and capture each of the four continents controlled by the four other armies from the original game: Orange Star was to be taken by Flak, Blue Moon by Lash, Yellow Comet by Adder, and Green Earth by Hawke. Lash also invented several new war weapons like the Black Cannon and the Mini Cannons that were to be put to use in this invasion. The four allied armies must now work together to drive Black Hole out of their world once and for all.

Childhood Memories (Stage Map) has lots and lots of Geo Blocks! All blocks give EXP boost +50%. If you carefully carve the geo blocks, you can stack them to 150% experience boost, then combine all Warriors (Male Fighters) and Valkyries (Lady Fighters) together to make a Lv. 30 enemy that cannot fight back in certain spots on the map.

Clubs (new feature) are special groups; assigning a character to a club in Homeroom will allow the character to gain access to special bonuses (e.g. Experience + 25%, Increased Magichange Turns, gaining mana from others). Characters can only be part of one club at a time, and monsters can only Magichange with Humans (humanoids) in the same club.
Evilities are similar to the unique abilties for each character from Disgaea 2, and while characters have 1 primary Evility, they can equip any secondary Evility as long as it is not unique to another character.

Battle Mystery! is the eighteenth mission of the Advance Wars campaign. It is the last battle where the player fights Drake. If the player chooses Andy for all three Drake missions, they will unlock the Green Earth CO for The Final Battle! as well as making him available for purchase in Battle Maps after clearing the campaign.
Eagle exclaims he saw his face, and that it had to be Andy–at which point Sonja interrupts. Eagle wonders what she is doing, to which Sonja replies someone else than Andy attacked Green Earth. Telling Eagle all that she knows, she beckons him to follow so she can tell him who has been pulling all of the strings. Drake backs her up, saying Eagle should go with her and not worry and that he will take care of Green Earth. Nell calls, telling Andy and the advisor they have been able to outsmart Drake and that there is a lander with vital GE cargo in the area; destroying that lander assures victory.
After the battle Sami asks Drake why he has been attacking them. Drake asks if they havent sensed him, the person behind all the fighting, telling them Sonja and Grit have been trying to lure him out of hiding. The battles were staged to draw attention away from Sonjas movements, telling them theyre finished now–Sonja has found something. Drake says hell be joining her as soon as possible, but he has to take care of Green Earth. He then wants to ask something, but Andy interrupts telling him they will help any way they can.
The next mission is Andy Times Two!.

Advance Wars is a turn-based strategy video game developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance. It released in North America on September 10, 2001. The games release in Japan and Europe was delayed, supposedly due to the September 11 attacks in the United States. It was released in Europe in January 2002, but not Japan until the Game Boy Wars Advance 1+2 compilation in 2004. Advance Wars has been released for the Wii U Virtual Console simultaneously in Europe and North America on April 3, 2014. It is the seventh game in the Wars video game series. It is the first Wars game to be released outside Japan, as well as the first Wars game to not be released initially in Japan.

Designer Kentaro Nishimura commented that the games success shifted Nintendos attitude over Western tastes, and that same success is frequently credited as a driving force for Nintendo bringing another Intelligent Systems franchise, Fire Emblem, outside of Japan beginning with the 7th installment.

Knights of the Round is an arcade game released by Capcom in 1991. A side-scrolling beat em up based loosely on the legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, the game features an action role-playing video game-like level advancement system, with fighters automatically being upgraded to new weapons and armor as they advance through the game. Plot
Arthur, who had been training himself to be a great knight, pulled out the sacred sword Excalibur from the rock. Characters
There are three playable characters:
- King Arthur, the main hero, is a well-balanced character in speed and power. His weapon is the sword Excalibur. He can perform a special attack, a powerful slashing blow, by pressing attack then holding the joystick toward the enemys direction. Initially, Arthur wears chain mail and leather armor. Upon gaining levels, Excalibur becomes stronger, and he eventually gets more body armor (later in silver and gold colors). Arthur is also the most devastating character, when mounted on horseback.
- Sir Lancelot is a talented swordsman and has been traveling all over the world to find a worthy king he should serve. Lancelot is the fastest character but lacks in strength. Since the game favors maneuverability, he is very good for beginners. His special attack is the jumping kick, done by pressing attack then holding the joystick up. Sir Lancelots weapon of choice is a sabre. Sir Lancelot starts out wearing a blue tabard with a yellow cross. In eventual level-ups, Lancelot gains plate armor and a broader sabre.
- Sir Perceval, a son of a blacksmith, is a strong warrior with a gentle heart. Unlike his sword-wielding friends King Arthur and Sir Lancelot, Sir Perceval prefers to use a battle-axe as his primary weapon. He has never been defeated thanks to his well-built body. Perceval is the strongest character but lacks in agility, making him good for intermediate to advanced players. He is the only character who can dash by tapping the joystick forward twice, cancelled into a Giant Swing by pressing the attack button while dashing. At first, Sir Perceval has blond hair and light armor with green long pants. In eventual level-ups, Sir Perceval becomes bald with a beard, and gains heavier armor, though most of his chest is bare.

The game was ported to the Super NES in 1994, in Capcom Classics Collection: Reloaded for the PSP in 2006, as well as Capcom Classics Collection Vol. 2 for PlayStation 2 and Xbox and in 2018, in Capcom Beat Em Up Bundle for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.

When I first saw the trailer to this game, Ill admit that I didnt think too much of it and thought, maybe Ill try it, and maybe I wont. I did have some interest but wasnt motivated to go out of my way. Then leading up to its release I saw someone uploading a video who was excited for it, maybe I also saw another trailer or something too. I guess I can try it out.. I downloaded the demo, then didnt touch the demo for like 3 or 4 days. Then I started it up, and was minute by minute becoming more enthralled. Getting to the first main continent and playing a couple battles, I was enticed, and enamored by this game! A 5 hour timer after the opening prologue + Call to Action made it a wonderful experience to fight lots of battles by pausing to manage my time. Im glad I didnt pass this game up!

Unicorn Overlord is a 2024 tactical role-playing game developed by Vanillaware and published by Atlus in Japan, and Sega worldwide, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Set on the continent of Fevrith as it is consumed by war, the story follows exiled prince Alain as he gathers allies to liberate the nations of Fevrith from the Zenoiran Empire. Gameplay follows Alain and his army units fighting in large-scale battles, with field movement and battles taking place in real-time.
The concept for Unicorn Overlord was created by Takafumi Noma in 2014. With company founder George Kamitanis blessing, Noma took on the roles of director, programmer and lead artist. The aim was to create a modern version of classic tactical games from the 1990s. Production took roughly ten years due to overlapping with other Vanillaware projects. Basiscape, a music studio founded by Hitoshi Sakimoto, returned to score the game. The game has received positive reviews, with particular praise for its gameplay mechanics and visuals, but more mixed sentiments towards its story and design complexity.

Strategy 1:
Group A: Follow Raspberyl and her crew around while healing them and mop up enemies they dont defeat. Id split into two forces for this. Following Raspberyls team would be a Healer, a Valkyrie with Bow prefering 5+ Move with slippers, and another range attacker like a Thief with a gun.
Group B: Consisting of 5-7 of your characters will move to the right from the Base Panel toward the Fight Mistress ladies (Female Martial Artist). Lure them in with a defending Warrior (Male Fighter), then dogpile and wipe them out.
Strategy 2: Wing it! Just do it, make your dreams come true!
Strategy 3: Toss Raspberyls group behind your Base Panel and use thieves to rob them, then wing it!

Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice is the third video game in the Disgaea series by Nippon Ichi. It was released for the PlayStation 3 video game console. Jack Niida, Localization Director for NIS America, said, Disgaea 3 will have a downloadable content feature through the PlayStation Network to download new and old returning characters.
Story Setting
The game takes place in a Netherworld school called the Evil Academy. In this demon school, a good student is one who engages in evil activities such as truancy, never showing up to class, and getting in fights with others. The student who participates the most in these kind of activities is known as the Honor Student, while demons who are admirable by human standards are known as delinquents.
Plot
Mao, son of the netherworlds Overlord, has not once attended class since the beginning of school. His ambition is to overthrow his father and claim his title (along with claiming revenge for having his gaming systems destroyed). After reading a few volumes in his manga about the Super Hero, Mao resolves to become a hero, convinced that it is the quickest way to gain enough power.
Gameplay
Disgaea 3 is a tactical RPG; most of the game involves battles on isometric maps upon which the player controls a group of characters. Maps often feature geo blocks with statistical effects on the battlefield, that, unlike in previous games, can be stacked or stood upon. Many objects in the environment, including these blocks, and characters themselves, can be lifted, thrown, or destroyed. Certain classes can create boxes or barrels to create stepping stones. Characters can form stacks, allowing them to reach higher areas or perform tower attacks. When throwing a character to a monster-type ally, they will bounce an extra distance.

Soul Blazer, released in Japan as Soul Blader, is an action role-playing video game developed by Quintet and published by Enix for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It was released in 1992 in Japan and North America, but not released in Europe until 1994.
It is an action role-playing game where the player takes the role of The Masters servant, to destroy monsters and release the captured souls of a worlds inhabitants. The servant can be named by the player; however, in a later game developed by Quintet, Illusion of Gaia, he is referred to as Blazer.

Gameplay
The player frees a series of towns by fighting monsters in traditional dungeon crawl battles. Destroying monster lairs in the dungeons causes a soul belonging to a former town occupant to be liberated and reincarnated. This is often a human, but it could be anything from a dolphin to a talking tulip. As souls are freed, the town is reconstructed around the people. The new town occupants give the player advice and items. When the player defeats the boss monster imprisoning the soul of the head of each town, the area is cleared and the player can continue. After the hero frees the first six villages, he is granted access to the World of Evil, where the final villain awaits.
Plot
The Master sends one of his heavenly divine companions in the form of a human warrior to the Freil Empire, where the evil spirit Deathtoll has destroyed all villages and incarcerated the souls of all living creatures in his monster lairs, leaving the world empty. The warrior must defeat the monsters and liberate the inhabitants from the lairs, gradually repopulating the kingdom.
The Hero (Blazer) is the protagonist, a divine angel, deity or lesser-deity, or avatar, sent by The Master to restore the worlds creatures to life. Skilled with a sword and possessing the ability to speak with any living thing and be understood, he battles the hordes of Deathtoll with the assistance of his Soul helpers.
The warrior travels throughout the kingdom, defeating monsters in each of six regions to gather six magic stones, each a different color, in order to open the path to Deathtoll, who now resides in the World of Evil. The warrior must also find three sacred artifacts to call upon the power of the phoenix to defeat Deathtoll.

On the way, the warrior falls in love with Lisa, the daughter of a brilliant inventor named Dr. Leo. The warrior learns that the worlds devastation came about after King Magridd imprisoned Dr. Leo and forced him to make a machine to contact Deathtoll. After being summoned, Deathtoll offered the king a gold piece for each soul from his kingdom, and under the counsel of his wife, Magridd agreed, but was eventually imprisoned himself. Reception
Quintet reported that Soul Blazer sold 200,000 copies in Japan, 70,000 copies in North America, and 25,000 copies in Europe, adding up to 295,000 cartridges sold worldwide.
Legacy
Game journalists and fans often consider Soul Blazer to be the first in an unofficial series followed by Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma. This series is nicknamed either Quintet Trilogy, Gaia Trilogy or Heaven and Earth Trilogy (after Terranigmas Japanese title, which translates to the creation of Heaven and Earth) by fans. The Granstream Saga is sometimes considered the fourth game in the series, as it was developed by Shade (a studio composed of former Quintet personnel), has similar themes, and makes references to the previous titles.

Mega Man 8 is a 1996 action-platform game developed and published by Capcom. It was directed by Hayato Kaji and produced by Keiji Inafune, both of whom had previously worked on the series as artists. It is the eighth installment in the original Mega Man series, and was initially released in Japan on the PlayStation in 1996. The following year, Mega Man 8 saw a release on the Sega Saturn and was localized for both consoles in North America and the PlayStation alone in PAL regions. Mega Man 8 is the first game in the series made available on 32-bit consoles. The plot follows series protagonist Mega Man as he is called to investigate an energy reading coming from a recent meteor crash on an island. Mega Man discovers that his nemesis Dr. Wily has run off with the energy source, and sets off to stop Wilys evil plans to use the energy, and to discover the purpose of a mysterious alien robot found at the crash site.
Mega Man 8 has improved graphics and sound over previous iterations in the series, as well as new full-motion video and voice acting. Aside from a few minor conventions, the game has the same 2D side-scrolling and platform game formula established by its predecessors on the Nintendo Entertainment System and Super NES platforms. It received a moderately positive reception. Many reviewers appreciated the games aesthetics and gameplay qualities when compared to its earlier counterparts, but several other critics were displeased by its lack of innovation and felt that it did not utilize the full potential of the 32-bit platforms. Additionally, the English-language version of the game received considerable criticism for its voice acting, which was perceived by many as being comically poor-quality. The game was a moderate commercial success and was re-released on best-seller lines in Japan and North America.
Mega Man 8 was followed by Mega Man & Bass, a 1998 spin-off game for the Super Famicom which reused several of the games assets and characters. A true sequel to the game, Mega Man 9, would not be released until 2008, and would revert to the graphical and gameplay style of the early NES games.
