The protagonists, the Allied Nations, cooperate once again to drive the Black Hole forces out of Macro Land once and for all. The game was well-received, and won the European Computer Trade Show's Best Handheld Game of the Year award in 2003.

Upon meeting certain requirements, new missions may become available.When the regular campaign has been completed, a more difficult Hard Campaign, in the vein of Advance Wars's Advance Campaign, can be unlocked, generally featuring modified maps and starting units.

While the Allied Nations were still recovering from the war in Cosmo Land, the Black Hole Army had already recovered and has decided to launch a large-scale invasion on Macro Land. Along with the original Black Hole army's commanding officers (COs), four new COs were recruited, under the command of Sturm: Flak, Black Hole's strongman in charge of invading Orange Star; Lash, a girl genius having invented most of Black Hole's technologies, invading Blue Moon; Adder, a narcissic commander in charge of invading Yellow Comet; and Hawke, Black Hole's second-in-command and Sturm's most trusted ally. Sturm orders each Black Hole CO to invade and capture each of the four continents controlled by the four other armies from the original game: Orange Star was to be taken by Flak, Blue Moon by Lash, Yellow Comet by Adder, and Green Earth by Hawke. Lash also invented several new war weapons like the Black Cannon and the Mini Cannons that were to be put to use in this invasion. The four allied armies must now work together to drive Black Hole out of their world once and for all.

Spann Island is a special, War Room-exclusive stage available in Advance Wars, Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising, and Advance Wars: Dual Strike. Not only is it the first stage that can be chosen upon entering the War Room, it is among the simplest and most basic of the maps available. Spann Island is one of the few battlefields in the War Room that honors only two armies, the forces of which must trek a short distance to reach the others headquarters at the opposite edge of the isle. Although the map is very small in comparison to those in the Campaign of Advance Wars, it still comes packed with a sufficient amount of cities, four Bases per army, and a proportional amount of terrain that may, under some situations, make or break a tough skirmish. The version of Spann Island in Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising is identical in appearance and building placement to that of its predecessor.
[War Room]
In War Room Players are put in maps wherein they must defeat enemies who are usually given an advantage at the start. War Room is a game mode found in Advance Wars, Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising and Advance Wars: Dual Strike. It features several maps which usually put the player at an initial disadvantage against one or multiple allied COs. Most War Room maps start without units on the map, making the player and AI rely on properties to purchase them. The amount of properties on a map can vary; small maps such Spann Island contain 21 of them, while maps such as Ring Islands have 82, well over the limit of 50 in Design Maps.

The Last of Us is a 2013 action-adventure game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. Players control Joel, a smuggler tasked with escorting a teenage girl, Ellie, across a post-apocalyptic United States. The Last of Us is played from a third-person perspective. Players use firearms and improvised weapons and can use stealth to defend against hostile humans and cannibalistic creatures infected by a mutated fungus. In the online multiplayer mode, up to eight players engage in cooperative and competitive gameplay.
Development of The Last of Us began in 2009, soon after the release of Naughty Dogs previous game, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. For the first time in the companys history, Naughty Dog split into two teams; while one team developed Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception, the other half developed The Last of Us. The relationship between Joel and Ellie became the focus, with all other elements developed around it. Actors Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson portrayed Joel and Ellie, through voice and motion capture. Theres also an online multiplayer mode called Factions where you choose to play through 12 weeks (72 matches approx.) as either a Firefly, or a Hunter.
[Gameplay]
The Last of Us is an action-adventure third-person shooter survival & stealth game. The player traverses post-apocalyptic environments such as towns, buildings, forests, and sewers to advance the story. The player can use firearms, improvised weapons, hand-to-hand combat, and stealth to defend against hostile humans and cannibalistic creatures infected by a mutated strain of the Cordyceps fungus. For most of the game, the player takes control of Joel, a man tasked with escorting a young girl, Ellie, across the United States.

In 2013, an outbreak of a mutant Cordyceps fungus ravages the United States, transforming its human hosts into aggressive creatures known as the infected. In the suburbs of Austin, Texas, Joel (Troy Baker) flees the chaos with his brother, Tommy (Jeffrey Pierce), and daughter, Sarah (Hana Hayes). As they flee, Sarah is shot by a soldier and dies in Joels arms.
Twenty years later, civilization has been decimated by the infection. Survivors live in totalitarian quarantine zones, independent settlements, and nomadic groups, leaving buildings and houses deserted. Joel works as a smuggler with his partner, Tess (Annie Wersching), in the quarantine zone in the North End of Boston, Massachusetts. They hunt down Robert (Robin Atkin Downes), a black-market dealer, to recover a stolen weapons cache. Before Tess kills him, Robert reveals that he traded the cache with the Fireflies, a rebel militia opposing the quarantine zone authorities.
The leader of the Fireflies, Marlene (Merle Dandridge), promises to double their cache in return for smuggling a teenage girl, Ellie (Ashley Johnson), to Fireflies hiding in the Massachusetts State House outside the quarantine zone. Joel, Tess, & Ellie sneak out in the night, but after an encounter with a government patrol, they discover Ellie is infected. Symptoms normally occur within two days, but Ellie claims she was infected three weeks earlier and that her immunity may lead to a cure. The trio makes their way to their destination through hordes of the infected but finds that the Fireflies there have been killed. Tess reveals she has been bitten by an infected and believing in Ellies importance, sacrifices herself against pursuing soldiers so Joel and Ellie can escape. Joel decides to find Tommy, a former Firefly, in the hope that he can locate the remaining Fireflies.

Its been too long since I last played this game. I beat it as a teenager but I guess I liked the first game more and as the years went on, I kinda started thinking I didnt quite like this game as much as I thought. I believe my reasons back then were that I just didnt like the pipelines, and seams. Maybe I thought the game was quite hard and that led to being another reason to somewhat drifting away from it. My thoughts on Advance Wars 2 have changed again. I think this game is quite good and potentially better than the first game due to adding several new COs and having a bigger campaign.
Frankly, I think the Orange Star missions are too easy, even though it acts more as a tutorial for beginners. I wouldve liked the tutorial to be separate from the campaign, but the game makes you do like 4-5 short mission tutorials that played out before the Campaign even started, that way you could get more enjoyment out of the Orange Star portion. Of course, if I was the developer, Id put in a simple secret code to skip the tutorial, or the tutorial could naturally be skipped if the game was beaten once.
Overall, I do like this game, and think its a fine handsome tactical strategy game for the Gameboy Advance SP Flame Red. I wish Intelligent Systems didnt forget about the Wars series after a certain point to only produce mass amounts on Fire Emblem games. The Wars series is good too, and needs more love, it too has a place with interesting characters and for pure tactical strategy gameplay without the rpg elements... or they could add RPG elements like in Fire Emblem, to the Wars series too possibly.
Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising is a turn-based strategy video game for the Game Boy Advance. It was developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo in 2003. It is the second game in the Advance Wars sub-series of Nintendo Wars. It is preceded by Advance Wars and followed by Advance Wars: Dual Strike. Despite being developed in the region, the original Japanese release was canceled, but the game was later released in the region alongside the original Advance Wars as part of a compilation cartridge called Game Boy Wars Advance 1+2 in 2004. At E3 2021, Nintendo announced that Black Hole Rising, alongside the original Advance Wars, would be remade and released together for the Nintendo Switch by WayForward in another compilation titled Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp.
Black Hole Rising is nearly identical to the previous game in terms of core gameplay; there was only a small change in overall graphical style and some small content additions. The storyline of this game continues from the previous game, Advance Wars. Black Hole has quickly recovered from its defeat in Cosmo Land, and has gathered forces to invade Macro Land under the command of Sturm, the same commander who led the invasion of Cosmo Land. The protagonists, the Allied Nations, cooperate once again to drive the Black Hole forces out of Macro Land once and for all.
The game was well-received, and won the European Computer Trade Shows Best Handheld Game of the Year award in 2003.
Gameplay:
The goal of the player in Black Hole Rising, common to all of the Nintendo Wars series, is to defeat all of the enemies, sometimes by completing special objectives. Generally, the player can win by defeating all of the enemys troops, or by capturing the enemys headquarters. In certain campaign maps, there are special objectives, such as capturing or destroying certain key buildings, such as a Black Cannon, a new property found in Black Hole Rising.

Soul Blazer, released in Japan as Soul Blader, is an action role-playing video game developed by Quintet and published by Enix for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It was released in 1992 in Japan and North America, but not released in Europe until 1994.
It is an action role-playing game where the player takes the role of The Masters servant, to destroy monsters and release the captured souls of a worlds inhabitants. The servant can be named by the player; however, in a later game developed by Quintet, Illusion of Gaia, he is referred to as Blazer.

Gameplay
The player frees a series of towns by fighting monsters in traditional dungeon crawl battles. Destroying monster lairs in the dungeons causes a soul belonging to a former town occupant to be liberated and reincarnated. This is often a human, but it could be anything from a dolphin to a talking tulip. As souls are freed, the town is reconstructed around the people. The new town occupants give the player advice and items. When the player defeats the boss monster imprisoning the soul of the head of each town, the area is cleared and the player can continue. After the hero frees the first six villages, he is granted access to the World of Evil, where the final villain awaits.
Plot
The Master sends one of his heavenly divine companions in the form of a human warrior to the Freil Empire, where the evil spirit Deathtoll has destroyed all villages and incarcerated the souls of all living creatures in his monster lairs, leaving the world empty. The warrior must defeat the monsters and liberate the inhabitants from the lairs, gradually repopulating the kingdom.
The Hero (Blazer) is the protagonist, a divine angel, deity or lesser-deity, or avatar, sent by The Master to restore the worlds creatures to life. Skilled with a sword and possessing the ability to speak with any living thing and be understood, he battles the hordes of Deathtoll with the assistance of his Soul helpers.
The warrior travels throughout the kingdom, defeating monsters in each of six regions to gather six magic stones, each a different color, in order to open the path to Deathtoll, who now resides in the World of Evil. The warrior must also find three sacred artifacts to call upon the power of the phoenix to defeat Deathtoll.

On the way, the warrior falls in love with Lisa, the daughter of a brilliant inventor named Dr. Leo. The warrior learns that the worlds devastation came about after King Magridd imprisoned Dr. Leo and forced him to make a machine to contact Deathtoll. After being summoned, Deathtoll offered the king a gold piece for each soul from his kingdom, and under the counsel of his wife, Magridd agreed, but was eventually imprisoned himself. Reception
Quintet reported that Soul Blazer sold 200,000 copies in Japan, 70,000 copies in North America, and 25,000 copies in Europe, adding up to 295,000 cartridges sold worldwide.
Legacy
Game journalists and fans often consider Soul Blazer to be the first in an unofficial series followed by Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma. This series is nicknamed either Quintet Trilogy, Gaia Trilogy or Heaven and Earth Trilogy (after Terranigmas Japanese title, which translates to the creation of Heaven and Earth) by fans. The Granstream Saga is sometimes considered the fourth game in the series, as it was developed by Shade (a studio composed of former Quintet personnel), has similar themes, and makes references to the previous titles.

GAMEPLAY
HyperZone is a rail shooter game. The object of the game is to navigate each level while shooting enemies and earning points until encountering a boss enemy, at the end of each level. After enough points are acquired, the player earns an extent and their ship is upgraded at the beginning of the next stage. The players ship can receive up to six upgrades.
As a racing game, the resemblance is visual. The mode 7 tracks are similar to the well-known progenitor of mode 7 racing, F-Zero. As a scrolling shooter, it is also similar to Star Fox in that the players ship is constantly pushed forward through each level. While it is possible to slow down, doing so gradually causes damage to the players ship.
HyperZone contains eight levels. After the initial game is finished, it restarts from the beginning with the player continuing in their final ship and keeping score; the game loops infinitely.
Synopsis
The game is set in the year 2089, where Earth has become unable to support life due to humankinds ignorance. The Earth Council has turned their attention to the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter - a place virtually untouched by civilization. But a hostile race of cybernetic beings has taken up residence there, and if humankind is to survive, the infestation must be eradicated..
Development and release
HyperZone has a resemblance to Eliminator, a game released for the Amiga and various 8-bit computers.[original research?] The games perspective and its unusual landscapes were inspired by the Star Gate sequence of 2001: A Space Odyssey.[citation needed] The offtrack landscape in the Material Factory (Area 1 in the US/European version, Area 3 in the Japanese version) is a tessellation of flashing tetrominos that resemble those in Tetris; the boss in Area 3 resembles the right part of the SNES controller, and buttons—of the same four colors as the Japanese and PAL region SNES logo—circle around it. Another HAL game, Kirbys Dream Land 3, references this game: The final area in the game is called Hyperzone, and several other areas share names.
Stereoscopic 3D support was partially added, but is not enabled unless the user enters a cheat code on the gamepad. It is supposed it requires LCD shutter glasses, or perhaps future programming to enable anaglyph.
Regional differences
The Japanese version is called Hyper Zone, and its logotypes in and out of the game differ from those in the western version. Levels 1 and 3 underwent a graphics swap between the two versions: the level layout and enemy positioning (aside from each boss encounter) is still the same, but the graphics set and background music are different. It is unknown why this was done because levels 1 and 3 have bosses that do not fit into their respective color schemes in the western versions.
According to Nintendo Power, HyperZone proved to be a top selling game in Japan.Entertainment Weekly gave the game an A rating, summarizing, With lots of practice, you can learn to forestall annihilation, but when you finally blow up (and believe me, you will finally blow up), its like reliving every grisly drivers-ed film you saw in high school.

Phantom Brave (ファントム・ブレイブ, Fantomu Bureibu) is a tactical role-playing game for the PlayStation 2 video game console, developed and published by Nippon Ichi Software. It was released on January 22, 2004 in Japan, on August 31, 2004 in North America and on February 4, 2005 in Europe. The North American release was the first game published by NIS America.
An expanded remake for the Wii console, titled Phantom Brave: We Meet Again, was released on March 12, 2009 in Japan. In addition to the Wii game disc, NIS America included a DVD which contains official artwork and both animated and non-animated sprites.
The game was ported to the PlayStation Portable with added features under the title Phantom Brave: The Hermuda Triangle.

Plot:
The protagonist of Phantom Brave is a 13-year-old girl named Marona. Having lost both of her parents at a young age, Marona lives on Phantom Isle in the oceanic world of Ivoire with a phantom named Ash. While he was still alive, Ash worked alongside Jasmine and Haze (Maronas parents) as a Chroma. On an assignment that brought the trio to the Isle of Evil, a fragment of a malevolent being known as Sulphur attacked the group, mortally wounding them. Using the last of his life energy, Haze attempted to revive the party after the battle; however, there was only enough life left in him to bring Ash back as a phantom. Haze and Jasmines dying wish was for Ash to watch over their then infant daughter Marona.
Marona is the only one able to see Ash in phantom form. This is primarily because of her unique ability known as Chartreuse Gale. This ability not only allows her to see and interact with phantoms, but bind their souls to various objects to grant them a temporary body, referred to in-game as Confine. Using this power she can summon Ash and other phantoms to the world of the living. Because she possesses the ability to see and speak with the dead, many assume that she is either controlled by or cooperates with evil spirits, and are afraid to even interact with her, much less employ her for Chroma work.

Main Strategy: Build some APCs and troops (Infantry) to start capturing properties. Rush the first APC and Infantry to the Airport to capture it. Sending a couple Tanks on Day 3 or 4 toward the frontlines can help deal with the enemy Anti-Air, and Tank while you save up money for bigger and stronger units, like Mid-Tanks or Neotanks, and copters or Bombers. After securing the front-line Base and Airport, build a Transport Copter, put Infantry into it and send it carefully through the battlefield and across the sea to attempt an Headquarters capture.
Sixth Map: Lands End is a Peninsula or cape surrounded by water on three sides and connected to the mainland where Lash has her headquarters. There are two major choke points, the first just north of the neutral base between mountains and the sea, the other leading along the road in between mountains of the mainland heading towards. A neutral airport in the northwest part of the map is key to granting victory for the player.
[War Room]
In War Room Players are put in maps wherein they must defeat enemies who are usually given an advantage at the start. War Room is a game mode found in Advance Wars, Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising and Advance Wars: Dual Strike. It features several maps which usually put the player at an initial disadvantage against one or multiple allied COs. Most War Room maps start without units on the map, making the player and AI rely on properties to purchase them. The amount of properties on a map can vary; small maps such Spann Island contain 21 of them, while maps such as Ring Islands have 82.

At the start of the mission Andy, Max and the advisor encounter Grit. Max expresses his surprise at seeing Grit in the Blue Moon army, which Grit dismisses as things happen. He proceeds to provoke Max, causing the latter to take command in the mission. He laments being surrounded by Grits, as it causes the predicament of either being blown away or having his HQ captured.
After the mission Grit tells Max he should have used indirect combat units more, and tells Max to give Andy a break; Max gives in, and apologizes for being a jerk to Andy. The latter tries to gets Grits attention, but the Blue Moon CO leaves shortly afterwards.

Advance Wars is a turn-based strategy video game developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance. It released in North America on September 10, 2001. The games release in Japan and Europe was delayed, supposedly due to the September 11 attacks in the United States. It was released in Europe in January 2002, but not Japan until the Game Boy Wars Advance 1+2 compilation in 2004. Advance Wars has been released for the Wii U Virtual Console simultaneously in Europe and North America on April 3, 2014. It is the seventh game in the Wars video game series. It is the first Wars game to be released outside Japan, as well as the first Wars game to not be released initially in Japan.
Advance Wars (GBA) is the first game in the Advance Wars series of video games, followed by Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising (Game Boy Advance), and then by Advance Wars: Dual Strike & Advance Wars: Days of Ruin for Nintendo DS. These games form a sub-series in the Wars series. At E3 2021, Nintendo announced the original Advance Wars, alongside its sequel Black Hole Rising, would be remade and released together for Nintendo Switch by WayForward in a compilation titled Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp.
The game was not originally intended for release outside Japan, like the previous entries in the series, which were released in Japan only due to Nintendo feeling that Western consumers would not be interested in turn-based games because of their complex mechanics. In order to alleviate this, the developers made the mechanics of Advance Wars easy to understand, adding in an in-depth tutorial that did not require players to read the manual. Designer Kentaro Nishimura commented that the games success shifted Nintendos attitude over Western tastes, and that same success is frequently credited as a driving force for Nintendo bringing another Intelligent Systems franchise, Fire Emblem, outside of Japan beginning with the seventh installment.
The story takes place on a fictional continent, where two nations, Orange Star and Blue Moon, have been fighting each other for years. The conflict enters a new stage when an Orange Star commanding officer named Andy is accused of attacking the armies of two other nations, Yellow Comet and Green Earth, without reason, resulting in a worldwide war. The game was released to critical acclaim and has been listed among the greatest video games of all time.

Plot Story
Advance Wars begins in Field Training, a tutorial mode, with the nation of Orange Star in a war against the neighboring nation of Blue Moon. Olaf, Blue Moons commanding officer (CO), suddenly ordered an invasion of Orange Star, battling their forces. The campaign continues the story that started in the tutorial. Nell, de facto leader of the Orange Star COs, gives the player the duty of tactical advisor for the Orange Star Army.

Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising is a turn-based strategy video game for the Game Boy Advance. It was developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo in 2003. It is the second game in the Advance Wars sub-series of Nintendo Wars. It is preceded by Advance Wars and followed by Advance Wars: Dual Strike. Despite being developed in the region, the original Japanese release was canceled, but the game was later released in the region alongside the original Advance Wars as part of a compilation cartridge called Game Boy Wars Advance 1+2 in 2004. At E3 2021, Nintendo announced that Black Hole Rising, alongside the original Advance Wars, would be remade and released together for the Nintendo Switch by WayForward in another compilation titled Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp.
Black Hole Rising is nearly identical to the previous game in terms of core gameplay; there was only a small change in overall graphical style and some small content additions. The storyline of this game continues from the previous game, Advance Wars. Black Hole has quickly recovered from its defeat in Cosmo Land, and has gathered forces to invade Macro Land under the command of Sturm, the same commander who led the invasion of Cosmo Land. The protagonists, the Allied Nations, cooperate once again to drive the Black Hole forces out of Macro Land once and for all. The game was well-received, and won the European Computer Trade Shows Best Handheld Game of the Year award in 2003.

[Campaign mode]
The Campaign mode in Black Hole Rising differs from its predecessor Advance Wars in that the mission selection is non-linear. The campaign takes place over the games five continents, each focusing on one of the five countries in the game. The player plays as one or more commanding officers of the protagonist nations, fighting against the antagonist of the game, Black Hole. Each continent begins with several missions that the player can select from. Upon meeting certain requirements, new missions may become available.When the regular campaign has been completed, a more difficult Hard Campaign, in the vein of Advance Warss Advance Campaign, can be unlocked, generally featuring modified maps and starting units.
[Plot]
While the Allied Nations were still recovering from the war in Cosmo Land, the Black Hole Army had already recovered and has decided to launch a large-scale invasion on Macro Land. Along with the original Black Hole armys commanding officers (COs), four new COs were recruited, under the command of Sturm: Flak, Black Holes strongman in charge of invading Orange Star; Lash, a girl genius having invented most of Black Holes technologies, invading Blue Moon; Adder, a narcissic commander in charge of invading Yellow Comet; and Hawke, Black Holes second-in-command and Sturms most trusted ally. Sturm orders each Black Hole CO to invade and capture each of the four continents controlled by the four other armies from the original game: Orange Star was to be taken by Flak, Blue Moon by Lash, Yellow Comet by Adder, and Green Earth by Hawke. Lash also invented several new war weapons like the Black Cannon and the Mini Cannons that were to be put to use in this invasion. The four allied armies must now work together to drive Black Hole out of their world once and for all.

Aero Fighters, known as Sonic Wings (ソニックウィングス, Sonikku~uingusu) in Japan, is a vertically scrolling shooter originally released in arcades in 1992 by Video System and was ported to the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993. It was the first in the Aero Fighters series, and a spiritual successor to the 1991 Turbo Force.

Gameplay
This game uses basic shooter mechanics of the SHMUP genre of video games. Pressing button 1 fires normal weapons; this can be upgraded by collecting P or the rare F items, though the maximum power level has a hidden ammo count, after which the player will return to the previous power level. Pressing button 2 launches a powerful special attack; uses are limited to how many B items the player has collected (every life starts with two). Some ground enemies will drop score items when destroyed; they appear as the currency of the selected characters nation. By default, players start with three lives, and can acquire one more at 200,000 points.
Aero Fighters is famous for its large cast of characters, unheard of in 1992. Each pair of characters represents one of four nations. The two-player sides may only select the four characters given (one for each nation). In a two-player game, only a single nation can be chosen.

The game has seven stages divided into two parts. The first three stages are selected randomly from a group of four, with one for each characters nation; however, a character will never go to its nations stage. The other four stages are fixed. After beating all seven stages, the player sees the characters ending, then play much more difficult versions of those stages, after which the game truly ends.
Legacy
An emulated version of the game was released in 2005 for the PlayStation 2 as part of the Japan-exclusive Oretachi Gēsen Zoku series. In 2022, the original arcade version will be included as part of the Sega Astro City Mini V, a vertically-oriented variant of the Sega Astro City mini console. Copies of the game are rare, with astronomical prices on auction sites.

Shin Nakamura, the main designer of Aero Fighters and a number of other Video System games, disliked the companys plan to start developing on the Neo Geo. He wanted to make more vertical games like Aero Fighters, but found it difficult to do so on a horizontal monitor. He and other like-minded employees left to found Psikyo, with the similar Samurai Aces being their first game.
McORiver would never publish another title under that name. Back at Video System, meanwhile, other employees teamed up with the remaining Aero Fighters staff to begin work on sequels. Aero Fighters 2 and Aero Fighters 3 were released for the Neo Geo. Sonic Wings Special, a sort of dream match game based on the three previous entries, was released for the Sega Saturn and later for the PlayStation. Soon after, Special was reworked for the arcades into Sonic Wings Limited. In 1997, McORiver, Inc. changed its name to Video System U.S.A., Inc. A year later, Paradigm Entertainment developed Aero Fighters Assault for Video System. Sonic Wings Special and Limited were both made for a vertical monitor like the first game. Similarly, Nakamura would make Strikers 1945 Plus for the Neo Geo a few years later.

Stages:
4. Petes Peak - This world is a windy mountain inhabited by a giant mother eagle enchanted by Pete. Mickey obtains his last outfit, the mountaineer costume, and now can use ropes to climb. The common enemies are the chicks of the giant bird. There are also other Petes soldiers, more powerful and with shield and the same bees of the world 1. There are only 3 levels and no mini-bosses. At the end of level 4-3, the giant bird is fought. The player must use their mountaineer costume to keep from being blown off the mountain and to take eggs from the bird to use as ammunition to fight back.
5. Frozen Plain - A frozen, icy world. It has only 3 levels, no mini-bosses and its somewhat easier than other worlds. There are only slopes that the player slides along, with strange hairy creatures to fight. Along the way, there are small blocks of ice that can be used as sleds for a high speed ride. At certain places, the firefighter costume can be used to create icy platforms. At the end of level 4-3 is the boss, an ice-skating walrus who is enchanted by Pete. The player must avoid his snowball attacks and defeat him by jumping on his head.
6. Petes Castle - The last stage. The castle of Emperor Pete. Its full of enemies and traps, and it contains all of the preceding mini-bosses. At the end of the level, the player faces against Emperor Pete in his throne room. Hes very strong and he attacks by turning stone blocks and candles into monsters. When hes defeated, Pluto is released and game is completed.
The Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse (Mickey no Magical Adventure in Japan) is a Mickey Mouse video game released in 1992 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It was the first of three Magical Quest games made by Capcom. The game was followed by The Great Circus Mystery starring Mickey and Minnie and Disneys Magical Quest 3 starring Mickey and Donald.
The game was remade for the Game Boy Advance in 2002 under the title Disneys Magical Quest Starring Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Published by Nintendo, the GBA version adds Minnie to the game as a playable character who is identical to Mickey in terms of gameplay. The GBA port also introduced a save feature and a character select screen, similar to that of the SNES version of The Great Circus Mystery.
Story
Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Goofy and Donald Duck are playing catch in the park. When it is Goofys turn to throw the ball, he accidentally throws it too far. Pluto runs off chasing the ball and Goofy runs after Pluto, leaving Mickey alone. Mickey goes searching for his friends after a while, but falls down a cliff into a strange magical land. Later, Mickey meets an old wizard who tells Mickey that Pluto was taken by the Emperor Pete.
Mickeys outfits in this game include: a magician outfit, which enables him to shoot magic; a firefighter uniform that enables him to continually spray water; and mountain-climbing gear that gives him a grappling hook that can attach to certain surfaces and objects. When wearing the magician or firefighter outfits, Mickeys magic and water abilities are limited, and must be recharged by collecting magic lamps and fire hydrants.

There are six worlds, with 3 or 4 levels within them. In the last level of each world theres a boss that is always a giant animal or artifact that is enchanted by Emperor Petes magic, (except for the last world, where Emperor Pete is fought). Some worlds also have mini-bosses, who are Petes henchmen with different abilities.
