A few weeks ago, we got to witness the Strawberry Moon skimming across the sky. It gets its name from the time that strawberries become ripe. It also happens to coincide with the summer solstice, which only takes place once every twenty years. Speaking of strawberries, I had the image of Yumemi Okazaki in mind, so I composed an original theme to reflect that.
I wrote this original to bring an image of a Lunarian in an emotional setting. I wouldn't know what you would feel since this is the last song of my new Hifuu album which released yesterday. Since the ending is apart from other songs, I didn't know how to make it play out, so I made it a piano solo and incorporated other instruments along the way. I think this would work well as a credits theme.
I don't know what my next Hifuu album this December will tell. Usually, the last two videos of this nature in June and December become the first and last themes of the album.
